AVO Reservois Seismic

Understanding the behavior of amplitude with respect to offset (or angle of incidence) has become a popular tool for risk assessment. The AVO is used successfully as a direct indicator of hydrocarbons in many plays, especially in clastic environments in sands with porosity with gas content.

By configuring gathers using seismic that goes through a Bandwidth Extension or Bandwidth Extension process, we have greatly expanded the scope of this valuable tool to determine the risk when conducting an AVO study.

The advanced conditioning of gathers improves and prepares the data for prestak analysis.
